The Campaign for Electoral Reforms in India has originated from the deep aspirations of the hitherto excluded people to participate in governance. It has been substantiated by five researches in countries that have implemented different variants of PR system and have made governance in their country more inclusive. CERI is now working in 22 States of India and is actively present in 15 States. It is promoted by state coordinators who are leaders in different fields in the country. CERI is actively supported by the intelligentsia, academia, political parties, civil society organizations and individual citizens. CERI has come a long way in a short period of three years.
